GLENDALE, Ariz.
– The Riverside Kingsmen and Color
Guard from Riverside King High School in Riverside,
California was named the
Grand Champion band of the 40th Annual
Fort McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Fort
McDowell Yavapai Nation.
9 bands from across the
nation competed in this year’s Parade, which is held
annually in Central Phoenix. The bands were placed into
one of two judging classifications; Class A signifies a
band from a school with an enrollment of 2,500 students
or more, and Class B signifies a band from a school with
an enrollment of 2,499 students or less. Each band was
evaluated by a panel of judges on its musical
performance, general effect, marching and auxiliary.
The 40th Annual
Fort McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade band award winners are
