 Hotel Check-In Procedures
Students and chaperones will use the upper levels of the hotel.
Girls will be housed on the top floors and the boys will be on the lower floors.  No students will be on the first floor.

If at all possible, all rooms on designated student floors will be used in full by the group.  The hotel is to refrain from putting other guests on these floors.

The Band Director will provide the final rooming list of band students and chaperones.
Students are to be housed in quad rooms (some triples    may be necessary and so noted on the rooming list) and adults in doubles or triples or quads as designated by the final rooming list.
On the final rooming list, please note that ROOM CAPTAINS (for student rooms) have been highlighted in bold.
For student rooms, key packets will be set up under the name of the ROOM CAPTAIN in alpha order.
Upon arrival, motorcoaches will pull into the large parking area.   At this point, a table or area will be set up with all key packets based on the ROOM CAPTAIN'S name.  The key will be given to the room captain and he/she will then notify all roommates of their room numbers.
At this point the ROOM CAPTAINS and their roommates will take their luggage and proceed to their rooms.
A copy of the final rooming list with all correct room numbers will be provided for each chaperone.
FOR STUDENT ROOMS: phones must be blocked so that long distance calls can not be made.  All student room phones should be completely turned off between the hours of 12:00 Midnight and 6:00 AM.  All in room movies should be turned off.

Any long distance calls that need to be made can be placed from the pay telephones in the lobby of the hotel.

FOR ADULT ROOMS: phones are to be left on for long distance calls if necessary.  All in room movies should be turned off.  If adults wish to have in-room movies, this should be arranged on an individual basis with the front desk of the hotel.  Adults will have to leave a credit card number at the front desk to have in-room movies turned on.
Room service will not be allowed to any of the student rooms during the course of their stay in Phoenix.
CHAPERONE ROOMS will be divided so that there is proper cover on the BOYS/STUDENT FLOOR and GIRLS/STUDENT FLOOR.

Chaperone rooms are to be placed at the end of hallways to insure proper visual check of all rooms on each floor.
